WHITE BREASTED KINGFISHER (पांढऱ्या छातीचा धीवर )

This is the style of some of the birds that they toss their food before finally gulping. Birds gulp their prey whole if they are of small size or if big tear them into pieces and swallow it.

To swallow, birds tip their heads back to move the bite to the back of the throat, and their tongues help maneuver the food into a good swallowing position. Saliva also makes food easier to swallow.
