BLUE SHEEP

Blue sheep also known as BHARAL is the local name in INDIA where as it is called as the YANG YANG in mandarin.

One of the major prey of the predators in the Himalayas including the snow leopards and the tibetan wolf the small fawns are targeted by the bigger birds of prey/raptors like the golden eagle and the bearded vulture.

The color exactly matches the surroundings and though staying in the a coverless areas the bharals have an excellent capacity of standing motionless in one position so that they go unnoticed.
